The world is advancing technologically every day.  Designing developments to be up-gradable for future advancements will allow for expansion of those technologies.  We strive to expand the usage of high-speed internet throughout our buildings and use technology to enhance our customer's living experience.  Integrating technology into one's day to day living experience will not only enhance, but create efficient use of their time for other joys of life.

Bedford Development started in 2011 as the development arm of The Kendal Group.  The Kendal Group has operated since 1978 as a developer, general contractor, and property manager.  The Kendal Group has developed and managed over 4,000 units in Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado, and Wisconsin.  The Kendal Group currently serves as the property management company for all of the properties under the Bedford/Kendal portfolio.

Since it's start up in 2011, Bedford Development has been responsible for over $150 million in new development. Bedford Development has vast experience with complex capital stack investments from municipal and state resources such as TIF and Brownfield Redevelopment Grants.

Bedford Development has helped facilitate many forms of permanent and temporary debt structures using institutional and bank financing, HUD insured debt, and other forms of mezzanine/secondary debt.

President - Ryan Bedford

Ryan learned much of his knowledge in development from his father-in-law, Ken Miller, President of The Kendal Group.  He began working with Ken after a very successful career as an Olympic and World Champion Spreedskater.  Shortly after the 2010, Olympics, Ryan began working closely and learning hands on from Ken on various projects.  As Ken began to settle into retirement, Ryan started Bedford Development.
